The event was held under the patronage of Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
This recognition underscores the vital role the Mohammed VI Institute plays in the field of Quranic sciences.
Established in May 2013 by royal decree under King Mohammed VI’s vision, the institute embodies Morocco’s efforts to preserve and modernize the study of sacred texts.

The institute operates as part of Al-Qarawiyyin University in Fez, globally acknowledged as the world’s oldest university by UNESCO and Guinness World Records.

Speaking at the award ceremony, the institute’s director, Abdel Rahim Al-Amin, expressed gratitude for the honor.

“This award reflects the King’s unwavering commitment to Quranic sciences and his support in elevating the institute to its current status of global excellence,” he stated.
