Turkish and Chinese presidents congratulate Mauritania’s Ghazouani on re-Election

Erdoğan expressed his hope that Mauritania would continue to advance towards a prosperous future under President Ghazouani’s leadership.

In the wake of his electoral victory, President Ghazouani has received congratulations from several world leaders.

Chinese President Xi Jinping also sent a congratulatory message to President Ghazouani, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing Sino-Mauritanian relations.

President Xi stated, “I attach great importance to the development of Chinese-Mauritanian relations and am ready to work hard to further elevate the existing friendship and cooperation to new levels for the betterment of both peoples.”

President Xi noted that China and Mauritania share a historic friendship, which has been significantly strengthened in recent years under their joint leadership.

He remarked, “The bilateral relations have seen sound and stable development, with fruitful outcomes in communication and cooperation across various fields.”
