Egypt’s illustrious football club Zamalek SC has announced the appointment of Belgian coach Yannick Ferrera as its new head coach, just weeks ahead of the 2025-2026 Egyptian Premier League season set to kick off on August 8.
At 44 years old, Ferrera brings experience from top Belgian sides including Standard Liège and Sint-Truiden.
He has signed a one-year contract with the Cairo-based giants, fresh from their recent Egyptian Cup triumph.
