In a rare show of political unity, the municipal councillors of Agnibilékrou have unanimously endorsed the budgetary and development agenda led by Mayor Siandou Fofana, following a council session held on Saturday, 19 July 2025.
The meeting, which took place in the town hall’s ceremonial hall, focused on the financial oversight and progress evaluation of various municipal development projects.
After a series of in-depth discussions, the councillors expressed their full approval through a public show of hands, signalling robust backing for the mayor’s stewardship.
Mayor Fofana welcomed the support with a message underscoring his commitment to national development goals. “As grassroots actors, we have a duty to extend President Ouattara’s work to every part of the territory,” he stated.
The mayor further encouraged residents to take an active role in shaping the city’s future, insisting that community involvement is vital for sustainable progress.
“I call on all citizens to engage more in local development issues, as this is key to ensuring the well-being of our population,” he urged.
