Respecting speed limits, planning ahead, and observing basic safety rules are considered essential to preserving lives. Organizers, law enforcement, and emergency services are calling on the faithful to consider the journey as just as important a part of the pilgrimage as the destination itself. While the Magal is a time of fervor and gathering, it must not be marred by avoidable tragedies.
