The aid, which follows previous shipments, is intended to provide essential relief amid severe shortages of food, medical supplies, and other necessities caused by the ongoing conflict.
Moroccan authorities emphasized that this initiative reflects the country’s longstanding commitment to supporting Palestinian civilians in times of hardship.
“This new assistance is part of Morocco’s sustained efforts to alleviate the suffering of the population in Gaza and reinforce the principles of solidarity and humanitarian responsibility,” officials from the royal court stated.
The move comes as the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with reports of widespread displacement, disrupted access to healthcare, and critical shortages of basic necessities.
King Mohammed VI has consistently positioned Morocco as a proactive advocate for humanitarian support in the region, coordinating with international partners to ensure timely delivery of aid.
Morocco’s intervention, under the leadership of the Al-Quds Committee, highlights the country’s strategic role in providing both immediate relief and broader diplomatic attention to the humanitarian crisis.
Observers note that such efforts aim to complement international aid initiatives while reaffirming Morocco’s historical commitment to Palestinian welfare.
Officials confirmed that the new shipment will include medical supplies, foodstuffs, and other essential items, with logistics coordinated to ensure rapid distribution to the most affected communities.
Moroccan authorities also reiterated their call for continued international solidarity to address the worsening conditions in Gaza and support the civilian population.
The royal directive underscores Morocco’s active engagement in regional humanitarian efforts, reinforcing the country’s role as a reliable partner in addressing crises affecting vulnerable populations.
