President of the Transition, General Assimi Goïta, received on Thursday the third annual report from the Independent Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the Recommendations of the National Forums of the Refoundation (CINSERE-FNR).
The report reveals that nearly 75% of the recommendations from Mali’s strategic rebuilding process have been implemented.
Presented by General Coordinator Amadou Tiéoulé Diarra, the report evaluates progress on 517 recommendations outlined in the Strategic Framework for the Rebuilding of the State (CSRE).
These include 55 priority actions, 153 complementary priorities, and 309 non-priority measures, tracked through 1,340 indicators. As of 31 December 2024, 72 recommendations have been fully implemented, while 315 are currently in progress.
The report highlights notable achievements in public services and infrastructure. Key developments include the commissioning of dialysis units, the installation of solar panels in hospitals and health centers, and the drilling of more than 400 water boreholes across rural and urban areas.
It also emphasises progress in the digital transformation of the Malian administration and the organisation of local meetings to address citizen concerns, particularly regarding access to basic services and civil status documents, including for diaspora communities.
Looking ahead, CINSERE-FNR recommends strengthening ministerial planning and coordination, establishing Technical Coordination Committees (CTCs) in each department, and advancing Vision 2063 as a strategic framework for agriculture, industrialisation, and rural employment.
President Goïta praised the committee’s work, stating: “Each recommendation must have a social and economic purpose.”
He reaffirmed his commitment to constructing a “new Mali” by mobilising all of the nation’s vital forces to implement reforms and ensure sustainable development.
The report underscores Mali’s ongoing efforts to stabilise governance and improve public service delivery, reflecting a structured approach to national reconstruction while highlighting the challenges and opportunities that remain in translating strategic recommendations into tangible results.
