Libyan football club Al-Ruwaisat has strengthened its squad ahead of the new season by signing Ghanaian defender Abdul Fattah Hamidu from Egyptian side Ghazl El-Mahalla.
The move forms part of Al-Ruwaisat’s ongoing efforts to reinforce their team as they prepare for upcoming competitions. Earlier this transfer window, the club also secured Malian defender Bakayoko Siaka, who joined from Congolese outfit AS Vita Club.
Currently training in Tunisia, Al-Ruwaisat are building momentum for the new campaign, having recently secured an emphatic 7-0 victory over Kairouan Sports Youth Club in a friendly match.
The addition of Hamidu brings valuable international experience to Al-Ruwaisat’s backline, bolstering defensive options and adding depth ahead of the season.
The club’s management has expressed confidence that these strategic signings will improve the team’s performance and competitiveness in domestic and regional tournaments.
As they continue pre-season preparations abroad, all eyes will be on Al-Ruwaisat to see if their revamped squad can deliver results on the pitch in the coming months.
