Jiangsu province donates tablets and air conditioners to Guinea-Bissau’s amilcar cabral university

Xu Kunlin, Governor of China’s Jiangsu Province, presented 50 tablets and 30 air conditioners to Amilcar Cabral University in Bissau during an official visit to Guinea-Bissau.
The donation ceremony, held at the university’s premises, saw expressions of gratitude from the Bissau-Guinean Minister of National Education and Higher Learning, Herry Mané.
“This generous gesture will enable our students to continue their studies in more comfortable, air-conditioned environments,” he said.
Amilcar Cabral University’s rector, Herculano Mendes, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the timeliness of the donation amid the region’s current heatwave.
“These devices have come at just the right moment, as our students desperately need air conditioning in their classrooms,” Mendes noted.
The donation underscores the ongoing cooperation between China and Guinea-Bissau, fostering educational development through practical support and technological tools.
