
The Queen Mother of Djuablin, Nanan Kouacou Koko, celebrated a decade of leadership on Saturday, August 30, 2025, with a ceremony at the royal court in Agnibilékrou.

Minister Siandou Fofana praised the Queen Mother’s tenure, highlighting its contribution to regional stability.

“Culture is a pillar of stability. It shapes our identity and strengthens our coexistence,” the minister added, urging citizens to honor traditions and show respect for crowned heads, who act as custodians of ancestral values. He encouraged the population to continue nurturing the climate of trust and harmony that characterizes Agnibilékrou.
The minister also linked the celebration to broader national priorities, noting the importance of unity in the lead-up to the presidential elections. “Unity is essential to the development of our society. As the elections approach, it becomes more than ever a national priority,” he stated, stressing that social cohesion is a prerequisite for a peaceful electoral process.
