Ivorian fintech startups chosen to Llead Guinea’s digital transformation of vehicle certificates
In a major leap for West African innovation, two Ivorian fintech firms — Société Ivoirienne d’Intelligence Numérique (SIIN), led by Habib N. Coulibaly, and Digitech Group, headed by Alexandre N’Djoré — have been selected to spearhead the digitisation of vehicle certificates in the Republic of Guinea.
The two companies emerged victorious in an international tender aimed at overhauling Guinea’s outdated automotive documentation system.
Their mission: to design and implement the country’s first national digital platform for managing vehicle attestations.
“This marks a significant milestone not only for Guinea’s digital infrastructure but also for the growing influence of Ivorian tech on the continental stage,” Coulibaly stated following the announcement.
The project is expected to modernise the issuance, tracking, and authentication of vehicle-related documents, reducing fraud, boosting transparency, and improving administrative efficiency.
With rising concerns over counterfeit attestations and procedural delays, Guinean authorities have turned to cutting-edge African tech solutions for sustainable reform.
For Digitech Group’s CEO, Alexandre N’Djoré, the initiative reflects a broader shift toward homegrown innovation. “Africa has the talent, the tools, and the ambition. What we’re doing in Guinea is a blueprint for what can happen across the continent,” he explained.
The contract win by SIIN and Digitech adds to Côte d’Ivoire’s reputation as a leader in digital innovation in Francophone Africa.
The country has consistently produced high-performing startups and digital solutions, increasingly being tapped by neighbouring states for transformative tech projects.
As the partnership between Guinea and these two rising Ivorian fintech stars takes shape, industry watchers say it could signal a new era of South-South collaboration, with African solutions driving Africa’s development.
