A group of 40 Guinean trainees has begun a comprehensive 90-day professional training program focused on railway technologies at the Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College in northern China.
The initiative, which started on November 11, 2024, marks an important step in strengthening international cooperation and promoting the exchange of expertise in the field of transportation infrastructure.
The training program, aimed at enhancing the technical skills of participants, involves hands-on experience with various railway technologies, including the use of rail gauge measuring instruments.
This training is being hailed as a prime example of China’s commitment to the “Belt and Road Initiative,” which seeks to foster global connectivity and mutual development through infrastructural collaboration and educational exchange.
The Guinean trainees have expressed high regard for the program, which offers them an opportunity to acquire valuable skills in the rapidly advancing railway sector.
This initiative not only supports Guinea’s transportation development but also contributes to the deepening of cultural and technical exchanges between China and Guinea.
The Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College is known for its expertise in railway education and has long been a hub for international students seeking to learn from China’s advanced transportation technologies.
The collaboration between the two countries reflects the growing ties under the Belt and Road Initiative, where vocational training plays a critical role in equipping future generations with the skills necessary for modern infrastructure projects.
As the trainees continue their studies, the program stands as a symbol of how educational partnerships can drive progress in both technology and international diplomacy.
