Orange Finances Mobiles Guinea (OFMG) has unveiled a new service, School Fees, a digital platform designed to simplify the payment of tuition fees while streamlining financial management for educational institutions across Guinea.
The solution, officially launched on July 24, 2025, enables schools to centralize and secure their fee collection processes, providing real-time oversight of financial transactions.
According to OFMG, the platform allows institutions to easily track incoming payments, quickly identify overdue accounts, generate automatic reports, and maintain a clear view of cash flow at any time.
For parents, the service eliminates the need for long queues or travel to pay tuition. Accessible 24/7 via mobile phone or computer, School Fees enables parents to make payments instantly, review their transaction histories, and download receipts at their convenience.
The service can be accessed through the Max it app, via the Education section of the Bill Payment menu, or by dialing #14446#.
“School Fees reflects our commitment to advancing the digitalization of Guinea’s education sector,” an OFMG spokesperson said. “It supports financial inclusion, enhances transparency, and improves the efficiency of school payment systems, aligning with the Central Bank of Guinea’s digital finance objectives.”
Orange Finances Mobiles Guinea, a subsidiary of Orange Guinea established in 2016, operates the widely used Orange Money platform, launched in Guinea in 2012.
The company serves more than seven million registered customers nationwide. Its Orange Money service is ISO 27001 certified and is among only two Orange Group entities to achieve GSMA Mobile Money certification, a global standard designed to ensure safe, transparent, and reliable mobile financial services.
By digitizing school fee payments, OFMG aims to reduce administrative burdens for schools while making tuition payments more convenient and secure for families across the country.
