President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau has arrived in Abuja, Nigeria, to take part in the highly anticipated ECOWAS Summit, signaling his country’s continued commitment to regional cooperation and peacebuilding efforts.
Upon his arrival, President Embaló was accorded full state honors by Nigerian authorities, alongside the Guinean delegation, underscoring the importance of Guinea-Bissau’s active participation in addressing West Africa’s pressing challenges.

Following the economic discussions, the 67th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government will convene on June 22.
