Fasoways Inter launches first-ever FIFA agent training in Burkina Faso to boost global player transfers

Fasoways Inter, a sports training organization based in Burkina Faso, has announced the launch of a FIFA players’ agent training program set to begin on August 2 in Ouagadougou.
“Fasoways Inter, a sports training organization, plans to hold training sessions for FIFA players’ agents in Burkina Faso starting August 2 in Ouagadougou, to facilitate the transfer of players to major clubs,” said sources close to the organizers.
The initiative marks a significant step for the West African nation, where football is not just a sport but a national passion.
Yet, despite the country’s enthusiasm, there remains a glaring shortage of qualified player agents capable of navigating the international transfer market.
“The session will bring together passionate individuals who want to become professionals in the field of player transfers, but who are struggling with career paths,” organizers noted.
“Burkina Faso, where football reigns supreme, does not have a large number of skilled player agents.”
To address this, Fasoways Inter has assembled a team of seasoned professionals for the inaugural three-month course.
Two FIFA-accredited experts and a legal advisor will lead the hybrid-format training, combining both in-person sessions and online modules.
“Fasoways Inter, which has experts in the field, aims to fill this gap by launching this training session in person and via videoconference.
Over three months, two FIFA-licensed experts and a lawyer will participate in this training, which will be the first edition.”
Prospective participants are required to pay a registration fee of 50,000 CFA francs, with full course fees set at 500,000 CFA francs. Enrollment is capped at 25 candidates to ensure an intensive and personalized learning experience.
“Registration is open and interested persons will have to pay the sum of 50,000F for registration and 500,000F to take part in the courses, for which places are limited to 25.”
With this pioneering initiative, Fasoways Inter hopes to equip a new generation of player agents capable of propelling Burkinabè football talent onto the international stage.
