
Egypt’s Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication, Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, has reaffirmed the enduring strength of Egyptian-Saudi relations, emphasizing that the bond between the two nations is built on deep-rooted brotherhood and a shared destiny.
Speaking during his meeting with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini, Fawzi warmly welcomed the diplomat, highlighting the historic and strategic nature of bilateral ties.
He praised the steady progress in relations, driven by the directives of both nations’ leadership and reinforced by continuous coordination among senior officials at all levels.
“These are not ordinary relations,” Fawzi stated. “They are built on a foundation of fraternity and mutual destiny, and what we see today is a reflection of genuine commitment from both sides to strengthen and expand cooperation across all sectors for the benefit of the Egyptian and Saudi peoples.”
The minister pointed to the ongoing collaborative efforts between Cairo and Riyadh in areas ranging from political consultation to economic investment, noting that the current trajectory of bilateral engagement reflects a shared vision for stability and prosperity in the region.
Ambassador Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini, for his part, expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and echoed Fawzi’s sentiments about the importance of the Egypt-Saudi alliance.
“I am pleased with this meeting and proud of the brotherly ties between the Kingdom and Egypt,” the ambassador said.
“Our relations are witnessing positive developments in various domains, and the Kingdom is keen to continue elevating these ties to new heights, in line with the aspirations of our two nations.”
The meeting underscored the mutual interest of both countries in preserving and expanding one of the Arab world’s most pivotal diplomatic partnerships, with a focus on shared interests, strategic alignment, and people-centered development.
