
The Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education has revealed the schedule for upcoming training sessions aimed at preparing primary school social studies teachers for the rollout of an updated curriculum.
This initiative marks a crucial step in readying educators for the academic year ahead.
Training sessions will begin on Wednesday, August 6, and continue through to Saturday, August 10.
The sessions are specifically designed for teachers handling the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades and will be conducted remotely via video conferencing to ensure broad participation and adherence to health guidelines.
The detailed timetable is as follows:

Wednesday, August 6, 2025: Fourth grade social studies teachers from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Thursday, August 7, 2025: Fifth grade social studies teachers from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Saturday, August 10, 2025: Sixth grade social studies teachers from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Alongside the participating teachers, the sessions will involve key figures including the director of the primary education department, the general social studies supervisor, heads of primary education departments in local education directorates, as well as first supervisors and social studies supervisors from the education administrations.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of these training sessions as part of their commitment to adopting best educational practices. “Training teachers on the developed curricula comes within the framework of utilizing best educational practices to improve the quality of education, enhance student outcomes, and create an effective and stimulating learning environment,” a ministry statement said.
This effort reflects a broader national drive to elevate educational standards and ensure that students receive an enriched learning experience rooted in contemporary, effective teaching methods.
