China gifts 20 vehicles to Guinea-Bissau in boost to bilateral relations

Guinea-Bissau’s President Umaro Sissoco Embaló has received 20 vehicles donated by the People’s Republic of China, marking a milestone in the country’s development efforts.
The presidential office in Guinea-Bissau announced on 4 November that President Embaló welcomed the delivery of these vehicles, which were provided by China as part of ongoing support.
“This initiative reflects the strong ties of cooperation and friendship between Guinea-Bissau and China, reinforced by our president’s recent state visit to China,” the office said, adding that this strategic partnership aims to support Guinea-Bissau’s infrastructure and economic development.
President Embaló expressed his appreciation to the Chinese government for the generous donation, emphasizing that the vehicles will enhance public services and improve mobility across the country.
This delivery forms part of a broader framework of bilateral partnerships intended to benefit the people of Guinea-Bissau.
