The Chadian Armed Forces have officially opened a competitive recruitment campaign aimed at bolstering their transmission corps by enlisting young high school graduates.
In a statement issued by the Chief of the General Staff, the army announced that it is seeking candidates for the 6th promotion of its transmission sector, specifically targeting Chadian youth aged between 18 and 25.
Eligible applicants must hold a national baccalaureate qualification and meet stringent health and nationality requirements.
Prospective recruits are required to submit a handwritten application, a certificate of Chadian nationality, a valid criminal record extract, and a certified copy of their diploma.
All application documents must be delivered in person to the military camp in N’Djamena no later than July 15, 2025.
The initiative is part of a broader national strategy to enhance the technical and operational capacities of the armed forces, particularly in the vital field of military communications.
With global and regional security dynamics evolving rapidly, the Chadian military is investing in a new generation of skilled transmission officers who can ensure efficient and secure communications across various defense operations.
The recruitment drive underscores the army’s commitment to professionalizing its ranks and creating structured pathways for educated youth to serve their country.
It also reflects the increasing importance placed on technology and information management within military strategy.
By inviting qualified and motivated young people to join its communication units, the army aims to build a stronger, more capable force to meet the nation’s growing security and logistical demands.
