The Casablanca Stock Exchange kicked off trading on Friday with a strong performance, as its key index, the MASI, recorded an increase of 0.29%, settling at 14,530.28 points.
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of 20 prominent listed companies, also saw a positive gain, rising by 0.35% to reach 1,174.96 points.
Additionally, the MASI.ESG index, which highlights companies with the best environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings, saw a slight uptick of 0.33%, closing at 1,042.15 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the exchange, also saw an impressive gain of 0.43%, reaching 1,420.98 points.
Yesterday, the MASI index had closed with a notable growth of 1.33%, underscoring the overall positive trend on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
