The Secretary General of Kossi Province, Firmin Bassolé, officially launched the theoretical examination for the Higher Certificate of Teaching Aptitude (CSAPE) at Nouna Center A School. A total of 117 teachers participated in the exam, seeking to elevate their professional status to category A3.
The CSAPE represents a crucial step for Certified School Teachers (PCE) aiming to obtain reclassification and advance their careers. Out of 128 registered candidates, 117—comprising 77 men and 40 women—were present to take the four-hour single-session theoretical test. Eleven candidates were absent for various reasons.
Addressing the candidates, Secretary General Bassolé offered words of encouragement, urging them to approach the exam with confidence and determination. “We hope for a favorable outcome that will see many admitted to category A3,” he said.
The examination was conducted under the watchful eye of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), who ensured the smooth and secure running of the assessment.
This certification process reflects the ongoing efforts to strengthen the quality of education in the Kossi region by promoting teacher professional development. With increased qualifications, educators are expected to contribute more effectively to student learning and overall educational standards.
The results of the CSAPE will soon be announced, determining which teachers will join the ranks of category A3 professionals, marking an important milestone in their teaching careers.
