In a nationwide radio and television announcement, the ministry urged teachers who were deployed and served until the end of the 2024-2025 school year to complete the process promptly.
The initiative is part of a redeployment exercise aimed at filling vacant teaching positions across the country. Authorities say the confirmation process is essential to ensure that schools are adequately staffed before the start of the new term.
According to the ministry, the exercise will be conducted exclusively online through the EducMaster platform (https://educmaster.bj). Teachers must log into their personal accounts on the MESTFP portal using their designated username and password.
Those who experience difficulties accessing the system have been advised to seek assistance from their respective school principals.
The move highlights Benin’s continued push to modernise its education administration by digitising procedures that were once managed manually. Officials argue that the online process will not only improve efficiency but also reduce delays and errors in teacher deployment.
Education stakeholders say ensuring the availability of qualified teachers is crucial for maintaining stability in the school system, particularly as the country faces rising student enrolments and increasing demand for skilled educators.
By streamlining the redeployment process, the government hopes to guarantee that classrooms across Benin are equipped with the necessary teaching staff when the new academic year begins.
The ministry reiterated its commitment to supporting educators and strengthening the education sector, stressing that teacher participation in the availability confirmation exercise is a key step towards achieving these goals.
