
The Algerian Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sufyan Chaib, met with members of the Algerian community in Egypt on Tuesday in Cairo to address their concerns and aspirations.
The meeting reflects Algeria’s commitment to its diaspora and follows President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s visit to Egypt in January 2022, where he engaged with expatriates.

In his closing remarks, Chaib underscored Algeria’s unwavering commitment to supporting its citizens overseas, highlighting recent evacuation efforts in conflict zones.
He cited successful operations in Gaza, Sudan, Niger, and Lebanon, stressing that no effort would be spared in ensuring the safety and well-being of Algerians, no matter where they are.
He reaffirmed the government’s determination to address the challenges faced by Algerians trapped in Gaza, despite significant obstacles, signaling the country’s resolute stance in safeguarding its citizens worldwide.
