The 16th edition of the International Building and Construction Fair opened on Monday at the Kram Exhibition Palace, situated in the northern suburbs of Tunis.
The prestigious event, running until November 24, has attracted over 200 exhibitors from around the globe.
Speaking to journalists, Hala Nasibi, head of communications for the Tunis International Fair, highlighted that this year’s edition features official delegations from several Arab and international countries, including China, Turkey, Italy, and Germany.
Nasibi anticipates that the event will draw more than 40,000 visitors, emphasizing its focus on sustainable construction practices.
“This session stands out with a dedicated forum on eco-friendly building, in light of the climate changes affecting Tunisia,” she said.
In previous statements, Mohamed Youssef Belma, the general director of the International Building and Construction Fair, noted that this year’s event will showcase a range of new technological innovations.
These include advancements in sanitary materials, wall and floor coverings, building carpentry, iron materials, as well as heating and air conditioning solutions.
With a diverse array of participants and cutting-edge innovations on display, the exhibition aims to position Tunisia as a key player in modern construction practices, while fostering international collaboration in building technology and sustainable development.
