The Adzopé Departmental Directorate of the Public Treasury is organizing a blood donation campaign on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, as part of the celebration of its sixtieth anniversary, officials announced.
The initiative is designed to give back to the community while highlighting the Treasury’s ongoing commitment to public service.
“This blood donation operation reflects our dedication not only to financial stewardship but also to the well-being of citizens,” said a spokesperson for the Public Treasury. “We invite all willing participants to contribute to this life-saving cause.”
The campaign is part of a broader series of activities planned across Adzopé in celebration of the milestone. On September 10, a promotional caravan will showcase the Treasury’s products and services, including Trésor Pay, Trésor Money, and government-issued bonds and notes.
Following this, a culinary competition will be held on September 11 within the Treasury premises, engaging employees and local communities in a festive and interactive event. Later in the month, on September 23, a conference themed around the sixtieth anniversary will take place at the prefecture, alongside an open day to foster transparency and public engagement.
The national celebration will culminate in Abidjan from September 15 to 19, featuring official ceremonies and high-level participation from government officials and partners. The events aim to celebrate six decades of the Treasury’s role in managing public funds and promoting economic stability in the country.
Authorities emphasized that these activities are intended not only as a commemoration but also as a platform to strengthen public awareness of the Treasury’s services and community engagement initiatives.
By combining social responsibility, public outreach, and internal celebration, the Public Treasury seeks to mark its 60th anniversary with initiatives that reinforce both civic engagement and national pride. Citizens and employees alike are encouraged to participate actively in the blood donation drive and the accompanying events across Adzopé.
