The Association of Friends of Assuamakro (3A) has strengthened educational resources in the village by providing teaching materials, office supplies, and an Internet connection to the public primary school of Assuamakro in the Koun-Fao department of eastern Ivory voast
The donation, made on Friday, 29 August 2025, coincided with the school’s “Day of Excellence,” celebrating the outstanding performance of students, particularly at the 2025 sixth-grade entrance exams. All 31 pupils from the CM2 class achieved a 100% success rate, marking a significant improvement from previous years.
“This gesture is a mark of gratitude from the sons and daughters of the village to the teachers who are shaping the leaders of tomorrow,” said Dongo Kouamé Badou Fidèle, president of the 3A association. He highlighted the importance of supporting educators who dedicate themselves to cultivating knowledge and excellence in the community.
Presiding over the ceremony, the sub-prefect of Tienkoikro, Ange Désirée Emmanuella Kouassi, praised the initiative and encouraged other villages to replicate this model of local engagement. “Local development must be driven by the daughters and sons of each locality,” she stated. “Investment in education remains an essential lever for building a pool of capable executives and future leaders.”
The contribution of 3A goes beyond material support. By installing Internet access, the school now has the means to integrate digital learning into its curriculum, broadening opportunities for students to engage with modern educational tools and resources.
Created in 2023, the 3A association has made education and community development its core mission, focusing on initiatives that enhance academic performance and empower young learners. The recent support for EPP Assuamakro underscores the association’s commitment to sustainable local development, nurturing talent, and preparing students for future challenges in Côte d’Ivoire and beyond.
This initiative is being hailed as a model for community-driven educational support, demonstrating how local associations can play a pivotal role in improving learning conditions and inspiring other regions to invest in their schools.
