
As Egypt prepares for the much-anticipated grand opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, authorities have announced the official ticket prices for 2025.
The landmark cultural institution, which has already drawn significant attention during its trial run, will open its doors to the public on 1 November 2025, marking a milestone in the nation’s heritage and tourism sectors.
The Ministryf Tourism and Antiquities has ooutlined a pricing structure designed to accommodate a wide range of visitors while ensuring the museum’s long-term sustainability.
Categories have been carefully divided to cater to Egyptians, Arab nationals, and international tourists.
For Egyptian visitors:

Adults: 150 Egyptian pounds

Students: 75 pounds (with valid university or school ID)

Seniors over 60: 75 pounds
For Arab visitors (non-Egyptians):

In addition to general admission, the museum offers a selection of paid services.
Guided tours, available in Arabic and English, start at 200 EGP for Egyptians and 400 EGP for foreigners, providing expert insight into the museum’s vast collection.
The Tutankhamun Hall will require a separate ticket, with prices to be confirmed before the full opening.
Parking facilities will be available for a nominal fee, with dedicated spaces for tourist buses.
