
The Egyptian Ministry of Finance has officially confirmed the salary disbursement dates and updated salary scales for August 2025, providing clarity for millions of employees across the public and private sectors.
According to a government statement issued Thursday, July 31, salaries will begin to be disbursed starting Sunday, August 24, and will continue through Thursday, August 28.
The announcement comes amid rising public interest and frequent online searches regarding the payment schedule and salary locations for the month of August.
Employees will be able to access their salaries through a range of channels, including bank branches, Egyptian Post Office outlets, and automated teller machines (ATMs).
The move aims to streamline the payment process and avoid congestion at ATM points nationwide.
The Ministry added that additional payments and dues will be processed on September 7, 10, and 11 for those not receiving their salaries during the main distribution period.
As for the salary values across different employment grades, August 2025 marks an increase in pay for many tiers. The updated figures are as follows:

Excellent grade: EGP 13,800 (up from EGP 12,200)

This structured disbursement plan is part of Egypt’s continued efforts to ensure transparency and efficiency in public sector operations. The Ministry of Finance continues to encourage employees to use all available payment access points and maintain safety protocols while withdrawing funds.
